We shall be handing out test sheets and rosettes at the event, however we do ask that everyone continues to maintain sensible social distancing at all times and respect other people’s space.

RELAXED SPECIAL GUIDELINES FOR 2022 COVID-19 COMPLIANCE COMPETITION RULES ARE AS FOLLOWS –

Entries and payment

• All entries and payment must be done via our online entry on our website. NONE  BY TEXT OR FACEBOOK
• Late entries may be accepted. However, after times and breaks have been published, late entries can only be fitted in to withdrawal slots.  
• As a condition of entry, competitors must agree to adhere to all government regulations and protocols relating to public health, hygiene and social distancing.
• We would like to remind people that although an outdoor event and currently there are minimal restrictions. Please can all competitors respect the choices of others and give others some personal space should they request it. COVID-19 is still a risk to some people and it could be you that is at risk.

Competition times

• Once times have been published no further changes may be made. All withdrawals must be notified.  

Spectators

• Spectators are reminded that social distancing should be maintained wherever possible and that crowds are discouraged.

Arrival at venue and parking

• As per current DEFRA policy, all horses must have up to date vaccinations in order to compete and passports must be carried with the horse at all times.
• A car park marshal will be available to ensure safe parking is maintained, in accordance with social distancing guidelines. Alternatively, parking bays will be clearly marked out.
• All car / lorry / trailer / horsebox parking must be a minimum of three metres apart from other vehicles to allow sufficient space for horses to be loaded / unloaded safely.
• No horses should be tied up and left unaccompanied at horseboxes / trailers.
• Clear signage will be displayed, reminding competitors of social distancing measures and highlighting any specific access and egress routes that are in place, avoiding cross-over points.
• A one-way system is in place, please observe the signs and help maintain appropriate safety guidance.

Warm up arena .

• Warm up time is limited to a maximum of 40 minutes prior to going down the centre line.
• Competitor numbers using the warm up arena should be managed effectively, with a maximum of six individuals permitted at any one time (one in one out).
• Riders should aim to maintain a distance of three horse lengths apart from other competitors at all times while using the warm up facilities.
• The warm up area will be monitored by a steward / marshal to ensure that riders adhere to these restrictions at all times.

Completion of test, results and test sheets

• A one way system will be used and both entrances to the arena will be used. There will be no return to the warm up arena.
• Results will be published on the our website within 48 hours of the competition
• Where possible test sheets and roseetes will be handed out on the day.
• Any rosettes and score sheets can be collected at the next event should you wish to leave early.

Class Rules   BD riders that have competed at Medium or above must enter HC

BD Quest riders can enter all classes

Intro. Combinations are not to have won two classes at Wellbeck.

           BD riders can only enter HC

Prelim. Combinations currently competing at Affiliated BD must enter HC

Novice. Combinations currently competing Novice at Affiliated BD must enter HC

Don’t forget you will only be allowed in the warm up arena 40 mins. before your first test

Regular Show Rules.

All competitors compete at their own risk and to carry appropriate third party insurance cover for each horse in attendance.

Organisers hold no responsibility for loss, damage or injury.

Organisers hold the right to combine classes should numbers be low.

You are requested to follow the rules set out below to assist with the running of the show and to avoid any accidents also so as not to hinder or impede other competitors.

Current PAS 015 approved hats MUST be worn at all times when mounted.

BD rules regarding tack will apply.

No lunging or pedestrians on the warm-up arena

You must come to the collecting ring when called

All boots/bandages to be removed outside the warm-up arena

PLEASE CLEAR UP MUCK FROM AROUND YOUR VEHICLE, USE SKIP PROVIDED

All dogs must be kept on leads in all areas at all times.
